Littleton, Colorado, March 29, 2017 - Builder Partnerships has recognized nine home builders for their excellence in the areas of overall management practices, customer satisfaction, trade relations, and employee management.
The awards, which were presented at the 2017 Builder Partnerships Executive Summit earlier this month, were: The Lee Evans Award for Management Excellence, the Lee Evans Lifetime Achievement Award, Builder Partnerships Achievement Award for Customer Satisfaction, and the Builder of Choice Award.
The Builder Partnerships Achievement Award for Customer Satisfaction
"The award is different from other customer satisfaction recognition programs," Builder Partnerships CEO Monica Wheaton said. "It's an independent and cost-effective customer satisfaction measurement available to all builders in all markets and at all sizes. We also do not rank one builder against another, but recognizes all builders who achieve a benchmark of customer satisfaction. That gives home buyers a truer measure of a company's quality."
To earn this recognition, at least 88 percent of a builder's home buyers must say they were willing to refer the company to friends or family. Once clearing that hurdle, the company's customer service and referral rate were further evaluated in an in-depth review of the company's processes and documentation. Members of the evaluation committee were Charles C. Shinn Jr., Ph.D., of Builder Partnerships, Littleton, Colorado; Charlie Scott of Woodland, O'Brien and Scott, St. Paul, Minnesota.; Jarrod Butler of GuildQuality; and Carol Smith of Home Address, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
